When we say sorry and when we truly mean it, a burden is always off our chest, yet we hesitate to unleash it. And even when we do say the words, we give reasons to justify our behavior or even worse, at times we ask for redemption. To me, this is to satisfy that ego we nurture on our minds.
From now on, if I apologize, I will simply apologize without any rider, and if at all I want to do anything, I will show it through my action without promising anything upfront.By Shantanu Baruah
