Pretentious Silence

I couldn’t understand her silence
the flurry of emotions earnestly needed an explanation

the love laced words,
the poetries depicting her as an ethereal bliss,
and display of such undeterred belief
seek an anchor to rest

Silence couldn’t be an answer to true love

And when I confronted her for once
she spoke copiously
Sadly, the pretentious silence was suddenly gone
