The ache in the heart
has many shades of emptiness,
the pewter skies gloominess,
the winter sun coldness,
the naked days loneliness,
all such aura conjured
into some purple madness
and when I queried why?
the heart has no answer
but to say
longing can make us
diffident and desirous
all at the same time,
such is the yearning I feel today
maybe because
you refrain to speak your mind
