She grows in me like some runic inscriptions,
syllables that drown me in her stupor
words that draws me in her love
and her thoughts distinct and clear
exuded through my benign smile
and I was blessed,
for I knew,
she is going to stay for a lifetime

Beautiful verses about the feelings and thoughts of a soul. I wonder who this “she” of the poem might be. It could be a lover that will stay forever in the relationship until death embraces the living. It could also be a relationship that does no longer exist outside the mind of one of the partners, where the memory prevails forever in a loving soul that has lost a partner for whatever reason. The metaphor of the “runic inscriptions” in your first line seems to point at the second possibility of interpretation. It all seems to speak of remembrance. You have cleverly used the present tense to make the memory linger and bring it up to the “now” moment, plus just a few past tenses and a future with the “going to” structure. Thus, following the logics of my second interpretation, memories are evoked and then “she grows” in all the aspects (syllables, words and clarity of thoughts) in the memory of the first person narrator of the poem. The lines “And I was blessed/ for I knew” are the only past tenses to emphasize where memory comes from. Finally, the “going to” would express the poem’s voice desire to make this memory stay forever until death comes. Does all this make sense to you, Shantanu?

I must say this it is one of the most beautiful and detail comment I have ever received. The way you read my work and provide the intricate details is beyond any comparison. I am mostly at awe reading your beautiful words. Thank you so much for reading so beautifully and thank you so much for everything you do. I am much humbled and blessed 🌸🌸

You are welcome. I guess I am just a natural poetry reviewer. It just comes very easily to me. Love to interpret and analyse, savor the beauty of literary language and arts such as music, cinema, painting, photography. It is the creative world agains oppression and manipulation.
