Wait has no definition, nor it has a mark in the future to cling to, it has no date insignia, no guarantee that the tides will turn your way. Wait is perseverance, a deference, a prayer, a pious thought. For when we wait with a hope, seldom it spares, but when done without thinking about the yield then often the stars, the moon, the celestial bod conjures, garnishing the wait with superlatives and when such moment accosts, it turns from a sheer yearning to a beautiful wait

And when all the illusion you are chasing will disappear
the mirage you’re after will vanish
when the glittering moon will dwindle
when the charms you possess will wane with time,
you will see me standing at the other end waiting,
for I have done one thing with honesty,
loving you without any doubt or prejudice
