The parting was never easy, 
pulsating heart, 
reckless emotions, 
gravitating his soul with miscreant thoughts, 

And in the midst of such capriciousness 
there came a few weak moments 
when he sincerely hoped 
this to be nothing but a bad dream 
and that he would wake up from the grail 
with surmounting relief 

But then the farewell came unannounced, 
stark naked, 
brandishing the truth in front of his eyes, 
a veracity raring to accost,

And in that moment before departure, 
the pain dwelled
making animosity brim with angst, 
He desired to despise, 
sprawl venom, 
reason with her 
and plead for her to stay, 

But then the love he bestowed was pure, 
and despite the oddity 
he put forward an earnest prayer 
for her peace 
and eternal happiness 
until time immemorial 
as he faded away into oblivion 
never to be found again 
in the depth of a blurry abyss
