Her eyes wavering 
draped in an unprecedented 
capricious look she wears 
and her soul incarcerated 
in the dungeon of her myriad thoughts 
is in a self-inflicting reprimand  
but those feet remain relentless 
trudging forward 
with a hope engrained deep within
