The drift in the air is bleeding my thoughts today

and the wind’s brute force is making my heart go lopsided

for the first time in a while, I am seeing the aberrant views of yours

and though my views may be defiant

my eyes have dissolved in the oblivion

clearing the haze from the grip of a convoluted mind
