How Can I?

How can I impede
the eruption of those myriad thoughts
that is convoluting your mind
pulling you into a ravine?

How can I caress
your heart gently one touch at a time
as it beats impetuously
dissolved in fear of some inane keen?

How can I unravel
those innocuous emotions
stashed deep within you
trapping you in its rapine?

Maybe if you find in your crowded heart space for my thoughts,
or open your heart to embrace my innocent touch
or hold me in your surging emotions,
you and I can find the anchor held in the stealth of yonder
