Rugged Soul

You are that rare treasure
that is yet to be found,
disguised in the shades of gray,
almost invisible covered with grime,
like an easily avoidable scene,
beyond the reach of any ostensible eyes,
like a rugged stone
hiding the shine of diamonds,
and you remain happy
in stealth like some undesired coal,

But can you hide from my deviant soul,
for I can trace your smile that is yet to arrive,
the shine that is yet to beam
the spring that is raring to come,
the love that is forever mine
and slowly I will unearth your old soul
and we will float to a serene abode
