The first swept of the spring

I loved her rogue fragrance
stirring me from our covetous night
while we made love
in the wee hours of morning
eyes begging for sleep
but the miscreant mind
lost in her musk
and I going wild
desiring to fold her into my arms
with a thought to dissolve
in each other’s eyes
till eternity embrace us

My mind remained in an uproar
while she opens her doe-shaped eyes,
graced with a lazy smile
and she appeared as charming and refreshing
as the first swept of a spring morning
with lilac, damask rose, freesia and peony
all blended to create
a devilish smirk in her desirous heart
