Wiseacre

His intelligence made others scorn,
for he expressed his views with authority, he called spade a spade,
brutal in his retrospection
like a wiseacre
labeling the facts with brute force

And he often wonders
why he was left alone
in his otherwise hugely populated milieu, only if would have realized
truth is not what everyone wants,
the perception of the ostensible world
