Dear friends

Blogging with Bojana read my Gnarled Soul post yesterday and dared me to right the HE version. Here is the response to the dare

Thank you for such encouragement and love you all bestow upon.

He, with eyes as deep
as the oceanic azure,
and sincerity of thousand larks,
gazed at her with divine clarity
like the bells of an ancient temple
chanting some pious hymns

He didn’t utter a word
but his smile had the gravitas
of utmost honesty,
nor did he query her chide
and embraced her rough edges
with gentleness and pride

And slowly but surely
the wrinkles dissolved,
the gnarled straighten
and the eyes became moist
for the ostensible cage
she had ferociously put forth
was breached,
her barren heart had blood
rushing down the veins,
for she found love
