And Then You Smiled

And when you smile
through those doe shaped eyes,
and when those gentle crevices
forms on your sun kissed visage,
all my ostensible anger,
the long standing apprehensions,
and the tall fortified walls
I had built over time
dissolves in a trice
and I stand there profound and agape
drenched in your beauty
lost in your love
