Igniting Hope

She had talent of many kind,
But was stuck in life’s daily grind,
She had beautiful wings,
But it was entwined in her fate’s string,
And though her spirit was alive and free,
Yet she was confined in her postponement spree.

Until the day when he came to her life,
He showed her the world beyond the rife,
He nurtured her flairs,
Smoothen the wings,
He elevated her spirits,
With urge to break the mold,
More stronger within.

And she flew,
with arms stretched,
And with twinkled eyes,
Taking her maiden flight,
High up in the skies.
