Anyone can pick your shattered pieces,
anyone can love you in transient burst, anyone can hold you for a few moments
anyone can give you comfort for a little while,

But to find someone
who prefer empathy over sympathy,
who enthuse patience over anxiety
and consumes complex thoughts in calamity
who lifts your soul
who doesn’t focus on mending your flaws
who believes in you more than you do
who shows you can shine many hue brighter
than what you think about yourself

Finding someone with such love is sure an arduous task
but if you lend me your hand
I will selflessly love you
and bestow such desires and some more
