The polka dot skirt
flowing charmingly with the gentle breeze and her bobbing tresses
flaunting her miscreant mind
with a hint of mischief

Brandishing her thoughts
speaking her mind,
abolishing societal norms
she soared
wearing her smile as armor
and possessing a valiant soul
that girl in a yellow dress
who stormed forward
and capturing sunshine in her heart

Inspired by the prompt A Yellow Dress and a Sunshine in her heart from the very talented Manic Sylph
