Recidivism – A Flash Fiction​

He had lost count. Days, months and years passed, seasons changed, so did his charm but despite his arduous wait, she didn’t return. And then one day, when the skies were pewter, and grayness consumed the world, in such a gloomy setup she appeared displaying all love. The smiles resurfaced, the moon shone through the starlit skies and before he could comprehend his long lost love, she disappeared, may be hiding in her cocoon, renewing her old recidivism self.
