Her Visage

Her visage had reflection of his vibrant thoughts,
as he casually sauntered her mind,
making her smile,
like shades of dazzling hue
in some rusty aberrant evening sky.

Quiet Love

He cares for her,
and he loves her to bits,
but didn’t have the courage to show.

In his most uncanny way
he stands stiff,
and for reasons best known to him,
he wouldn’t speak.

He never misses any chance
to catch her fleeting glance,
on occasions when she appears unceremoniously
without the announce.

And though he yearns
to embrace her into his fold,
but despite the strong urge
he refrains any emotions to show.

The elation that surges seeing her,
often dwindle,
lost in his unprecedented stance.

He remains unpretentious
and annoyingly callous,
for he can’t come to terms,
of his inability to take any chance

Every time she sees him
in the corner of that street,
his perplex stature
is hard not to notice,
fluster face,
nervous smile,
stealing glances in a momentary trice,
every move he presumes
though suggest his yearning for her,
yet he will not say a thing

So, tired of waiting
she decides to speak,
and though his love is quiet
she longed,
as it is far from any deceit

Her Regrets and His Blessings

She regretted their time was short lived,
he treasured every moment spent with her.

She repented for everything she didn’t say,
he cherished the memories when he spoke the world to her.

She is now cramped in her shell,
sad and bereaved,
he wore her thoughts in his smile,
and he soared Lost in her beguile

Blithe

She always remained in blithe,
nonchalant and insouciant,
pristine and kind,
and worry was the last thing on our mind.

She had many dreams,
few attainable,
and many over the top,
and in the course of making them real,
some broke and few shattered,
but that didn’t impede her to dream more,
the bygones never troubled her,
and she surged ahead to open new doors

The guffaws,
the laughter,
the glitter in her eyes,
never shattered,
and she dreamed some more,
went ahead defining new charters

And occasionally when her dreams come true,
she never rested,
nor did she halt,
to claim her pride,
for she found new reasons to keep her soul smiling and alive,
living in trance was her way to challenge herself,
and she didn’t merely survive but thrived.

Demons

Little did she know
that the fear she carried inside her
fed on her soul,
loitered on her mind,
and before she could comprehend,
it transformed to such an unfathomable demon
that it was hard to arrest,
or escape
from the clutches of her self made legion.

His Midas Touch

He found her scattered around,
her heart broken to pieces
so was her soul,
and she had rough edges,
each protruding out,
screaming and telling an unforgiving story.

She was closed,
her thoughts stashed away
in some dark corner,
maybe a closed box,
hard to trace.

And her eyes bellowing red,
hard to tell,
if the crimson sparks
were because of her prolonged crying,
or from the rage she bore in her remnants.

But he didn’t give up on her,
he gathered her piece by piece,
and like a skilled craftsman,
chiseled her,
shaped her,
gave her time to heal.

And then magic happened,
her soul bloomed,
her heart smiled,
she was a new her,
a refreshed soul beaming with elation.

He gently held her hand
and glided her softly to the mirror,
and the image startled her,
and she cried,
her eyes were crimson red,
but this time for love.

But how strange was that,
for in the process of finding her
he discovered his own redound self
smiling with joy.

Why Should I Dream?

All my dreams,
my plans,
the long brooding at times
have disappeared and vanished,
since the time you’re around,
and the heart has woken up
from long repose,
and that whisper,
like a gentle ruffle,
is drawing me into you,
and I,
soaked in your loved,
drenched in your thoughts,
is a new me,
which I am enable to reckon,
sure I am confused,
but I am exultant,
and have enough senses to announce,
why do I need to dream when you are around?

The Memories from Past

The memories of her past
keep revisiting in her shadows of today.

In the beginning it was arduous,
difficult to fathom,
but she learned
to coexists with her reminiscence
slowly but surely over time.
