The silence was golden,
the heart was at peace,
my world was beautiful,
no one existed to implore or beseech
And then you came in
there was chaos,
relentless restlessness,
imploding yearning
and perturbed anxiety
my world turned upside down
Some called it madness
few named it as insanity
others labeled me as a lost soul
and the remaining wrote me off
but despite such atrocities
I called it love
For in chaos there was a calamity
the restlessness had some purpose
the yearning yielded verses
the anxiety showed me a path beyond
such is love
you lose everything
yet you soar like a dove
