I never thought
you will drift away into oblivion
leaving me all by myself
with your myriad thoughts,

And wrapped in your world,
I reminisce
how you vanished in a trice,
holding me earnestly in your hollow eyes

My heart still beats with the same intensity,
like before,
when you visit in my dreams,
and perhaps I still engage
with the prattle inside me thinking one day you will arrive
with your pixie little smile
