Dwindling hope and diminishing faith,
rattled heart has nowhere to escape
battered dreams,
baffled scene,
angst clouding every step of the way
and in such muddled grime
your words from yore suddenly chimed,
the doubts still resist to fade away
but your thoughts still decides to stay,
though your absence brings melancholy
yet I see light,
for nothing can take away the learning of hardship
when I chose to give life a chance with or without you by my side,
now I nurture hope in the faith of that promise
and I shall survive
