Smeared by her obnoxious love
I entered the forbidden world

blinded by her fragrance
I wandered into a gothic dungeon

driven by some sinful desires
I fed on gore

and now when the shades had vaporized
I couldn’t find her anymore

You want to say the words of love yet your convoluted mind captures an uncalled perturbation, and all you spit now is pretentious venom, something you never meant to say, but now out in the open lurking from behind, pulling your devious soul into an ostensible ravine

His hands were down underneath
clamped in dirt, mud
and shades of gore,

fingers in obscurity,
draped with an unknown fear,
staring into oblivion
searching at yonder
for a distant yore

maybe an illusion it was
but then specters are never to be behold

She Beaconed

She, with a hint of mischievous smirk
and wearing a sinister spark
treaded the paths
less traversed, ambivalent and vague,
often flaunting her abstruse side
entwined in some dreadful drape

With her thoughts,
where briers flourish
and the ghouls brandish dark souls
lurking some vicious feral snarl

And her heart,
the world labeled it as haunted place
but she called it her home
perverse from the rest
for she consumed the cosmos
in her vibrant soul

Never Lose Hope

Don’t lose hope
when the nights are dark,
for the moon has just
transiently smeared
in some celestial smite

But soon the darkness
will dissolve
and brightness will regain
its shimmering light
