She lost everything,
the people she called her own deserted her,
her dignity was questioned,
her life was turned upside down,
she was beaten down to knees,
left alone to rot,
while she lost everything
one thing she didn’t lose was hope

And despite all catastrophic circumstances
she thrived
for she defied all untoward vibes
