They were in love
like two larks,
insouciant and carefree,
not influenced by any prescribed doctrine,
beyond trepidations, predicaments,
judgment or jealousy
they soared in each other’s thoughts
no expectations caged them,
there weren’t any ego walls,
no race to achieve any goal,
for they found love
the world existed, but that didn’t matter, nor the grace of the moon
or the majesty of the sun,
day, night, winter and summer
nothing ever bothered
or could lure them anymore,
for they found love
love without expectations,
love without motive,
love which was pure,
love that didn’t desire to find more
for they found love
And together they charted
some descry paths,
unknown to them
they left their marks,
for they found love
