Hidden in the labyrinth of my heart,
somewhere lost in the abyss of my myriad thoughts,
invisible to me,
an emotion that I am unable to substantiate,
or feel the pulse,
and like a miasma it floats in my senses
and like a plume it blinds my eyes,
giving a miscreant view
and I don’t know
why in such convoluted settings
the only thing that is vivid is you,
but then an inner voice says
the peace that I seek
is the chaos that is within me
