The surging emotions
that often kept him in an oblivious state
were subsiding
and the hope resurrected with a gentle blip,
The smiles
that had morphed into a grim outlook
was jutting out,
And the love
that was crushed under the miasma of betrayal
found new wings,
It was a new day,
a new beginning,
The sun was breaking into some golden hue,
the clouds were fading away,
the flowers bloomed,
for he decided to pull the anchors out
from the past yore
and slowly but surely
he liberated,
he was free
