Melodies of yesteryears
have now become the cacophony of today
and I lost my rhythm
for you decided to leave,
barren views,
myriad thoughts,
hollow eyes,
dithered smile,
all such unwanted thoughts
now house my world,
staring at nothingness
through the obnoxious window of my heart
the yearnings of unrequited love
