I know you know what my heart beats for,
the sudden palpitations,
the lub dub oscillating in the rhythm of your thoughts,
the surge of excitement out of the blue,
the smiles spreading in abundance,
though I myself may not have a clue
for all such childish expression,
but I know you will know still
because I may have been aloof for a while
but all such pretentious shroud disappears in a whiff
when you talk to me with your open heart
