No Time to Remorse

I wrapped my wounds
and all the abrasions you gave me
in a shroud
and stashed it deep within me,

May be one day
I will unwrap the drape
pull all the gore out
and reason with you
on why you disappeared?

But not this moment,
for today is a new day,
and wearing my radiant smile,
I shall survive with my charm
for I have no time to remorse

  1. I wish one day we can heal. Hiding pain doesn’t really go away. We must extract it, examine it and release it. But the pain is what makes you have compassion for others.
