Throng – A Flash Fiction

She ran as if it was her last sprint to freedom and holding fear in her eyes and hope in her soul she dashed. She carried the burden of lonesomeness, the horror from the past and depressions of yore way too long. Now she desired to accost people, talk her fear out, feel comforted and be loved. So, she bulldozed her way to be with a crowd. Will she get respite surrounded by a throng? For in a crowd you may not be lonely but can still be alone
