Lithograph – A Flash Fiction

She was chained and held in a dungeon, desires diminishing so was her chance to escape. Bereaved she was, but never deprived of hope and see wrote resilience on the oubliette walls where she was captivated. And a century later her words carved on the lithographs were preached by oracles on how to keep the flame burning when everything else works towards demolishing one’s defiant grit
