The feel of yesteryears rush through my veins when the scent of your wild nosegays casually brushes my heart

An uncalled longing,
the gyrations of many submerged thoughts,
blooming of a few dormant smiles
and craving of a million defiant hearts,
all happens at once
when the blinding fragrance
of some incessant nosegay
erupts my long lost love

Nosegay – A Flash Fiction 

A loner I was, and a peripatetic soul, never rested at one place, in search of something that my heart never conjured. From crowded streets to desolate places, I traversed all without much respite, for an unruly restlessness crowded my mind. And in search of nothingness, I became a vagabond. Then one day as the fragrance of some nosegay wrapped around the waist of a damsel drove me wild. And I followed her along, behind the boulders, across the mountains and in the bed of the ocean,  it was peace at last.
