And She Soared

Her world was occupied with chaos, broken promises,
scattered thoughts,
ruptured dreams,
and a battered life
but despite such atrocities
she was a delight to watch,
for her mind wasn’t abstained in a cage
or held in any ostensible past yore
and in the ensemble of her golden thoughts
she defiantly soared
