Be Tender

Hold your judgment
that unprecedented verdict,
for you don’t know
what she may be going through,
the circumstances she might be into,
the battles she might be fighting
and the scars she maybe defiantly carrying
in the folds of her broken heart

  1. Exactly, Shantanu! Everyone we meet out here is fighting a battle so what right does it give us to judge? I love the tenderness of the words. Have a blessed weekend.

  2. Exactly!!! Don’t judge the situation, you don’t know about, or you are not in.

  3. What a beautiful reminder that we don’t know what someone else is dealing with. Another to add to my list of favorite poems. -Jill
