And I Ran

And I ran,
climbing those boulders,
crossing green meadows,
through dense forest,
across rapid rills

I ran,
with open mind,
bewildered eyes,
displaying glowing visage,
and with love nurtured heart

I ran,
to explore the unexplored,
to rekindle unmet hopes,
to reach for crimson skies,
to take the maiden flight

I ran,
for I was not impeded
by any extraneous predicament,
for I was not caged
by any pretentious thought,
I ran, for I had your unconventional support

  3. On a lighter side, I think this is inspired by all your running to catch your almost missed flights at the airports and being a poet , you gave a positive spin to it.
