Her pleated skirt
with stripes of black and white
swirling around
Like some floating clouds
And her carefree dance
holding his sight in the first glance
and as she twirled to the accordion’s tune,
captivating him from night to noon
And all the foundered talks
lost in some dark abyss
came surging back
questioning his beliefs
But such was her stance
abstruseness was written
in her every glance
while she swayed to glory
blithe, gyrating
unearthing one surprise at a time
from the chest of her quarry
he remained in oblivion with precipitated eyes
anxious to discover his next vice
