She was a lost soul,
he was equally shattered,
bereaved, locked in his own world
And like fate would have its way
they met on the crossroads of life’s bay
Both torn and rattled,
yet amazed to see how badly
the other person was battered.
She desired to bring him back
from his self-imposed exile,
And he coaxed her atman
to bring back her lost smiles
Slowly but surely, they found their way,
weaved in a splice, bonded, never again to fray
