Her mind came to a grinding halt,
Her visage was white like a shroud,
Her fears jutted out from her heart,
Her doubts shimmering glow even in the dark.
In the midst of such turmoil
she stood tall,
Like a long standing rock
and despite being crumpled and torn
She refused to give up and adjourn.
For the world could take everything away from her,
but not the hope,
That stayed with her,
Her pride laced trope

Beauty strolls across this page of positive complimentary recognition! To give up (throw in the towel) can be an option for many. But it takes a lifetime to unwrap the gift of life! Hope is always a second away! Once again, nice word usage! 🤗
Thank you Myth for your kind words. Hope keeps all of us going. 😇🙏
