She arrived again
with her dazzling charm
and abstruse smile,

And didn’t bring along
any past indifferences
that poised as a pretentious wall
last time when she was gone,

The elation that surrounded him
went in a trice,
like some spring cloud
playing hide and seek
with a passing storm,

he desired to express so many emotions,
rare to display his blithe side
but he held such thoughts closely guarded inside
for he was afraid
she might evanesce him one more time
