They called it a bond for a lifetime,
breathing in symphony
enjoying life moments
shared life goals

And she plunged into it
with hope, excitement and blithe
ready to walk the labyrinth path
with determination and grit

And those promises
she weaved, braided and keep,
waiting for moments to accost
to demonstrate her part
to prove her bit

But when was it meant to be
the way she thought
for dominance on her mind
was what her partner wished for

And the fairy tale story
came crashing down
for people with a narrow mind
cannot make the dreams real
