The clouds wore the darkest shade of pewter shade,
the night was young with many hidden tales
in the folds of its tall stave,
the demons lurked with a vicious hiss,
the aura had an uncalled eerie
and any remaining hope had vanished in a trice,

While the  ghastly caper was at its prime,
she arrived,
ripping apart the grayness,
dwarfing the darkness,
making the devilish fiend dissipate in a flash,
she smiled with sparkle of a thousand stars
draping many layers of bliss on his ostensible life
