Drowning under the tall expectations of his parents

He was always afraid
meek and worried,
a loner as they say
desiring to dissolve in oblivion

He had many thoughts inside him
burning him like a flame
yet he couldn’t speak his mind,
for he was afraid

As time passed by
his brain had stopped working
and despite his tender age
he succumbed to depression

Everyone pitied him
but no one saw the atrocities
that was bestowed on him
will he survive?
