We embraced each other
in some panoramic ensemble
weaved in a fabric of togetherness deviant from the understanding
of what the world prescribes

Neither laced with lust,
or with any preconceived intent
nor caged in any burden of prejudice
or waiting for any approval
for it is aberrant
from any sane explanation,
a melody from my heart to hers
and from her heart to my soul
a bond meant for eternity
for we are in love
