I don’t feel anything anymore
the wound that bothered me for eons
has become my companion now,
and I don’t know how or when
but I nurture my lesion now
treasuring it with utmost care,
and I keep fiddling it
to keep the pain young,
for I want to get the betrayals
close under the guards of my fragile heart
