You may be determined today to stay aloof,
putting our hearts to the hilt of abjection,
for reasons that you firmly believe today

Or it maybe a presumption that you outlined,
fearing where this might lead,

It could be an illusion too
where you fear thinking
how we are so different like chalk and cheese

I am sure your reasons have its own merit,
but I am certain
no matter what you think today
when the cloud of your pretentious reasons will fade
you will realize illusions and apprehensions
are the only reasons
one should never reason with
