Test of Time

And he waited for the pewter skies to turn crimson
the thunderous clouds to calm,
the deluge to stop,
the storm to abate

And he waited for her genuine smile to radiate,
the heartfelt words to sate,

And he waited for the times
when unstated bond conjured more meaning to any stated covenant

And he hoped his hope will triumph and stand any test of time

  1. Waiting and hoping are virtues that are hard to inculcate for we are always do impatient. But then I guess that is the best way to get through life. I hope his hope does triumph.

  2. Lots of power in these wonderful words! We can’t live happily without hope in our hearts. Lovely colours in the photo ❤
