The dawn cracked
washing away all her past yearnings
in its fulvous spread
And in its shimmering brightness
her endless perturbations
dissolved into some vagueness
All the long-standing apprehension
and the overwhelming fears
that usually pounced on her,
without any forewarning,
vanished in the glow of the new beginning
Believes were renewed
smiles got wider and genuine
the hugs got tighter
the love appeared brighter
And with eyes laced with hope
she welcomed the new morning
