His spoken verse failed to captivate souls,
like some insignificant vapor
dissolving in the oblivion of nothingness,
he screamed, bulldozed, used force
yet his thoughts were disseminated
by the clan as some meaningless bout
meant to be obliterated
There was another voice
hidden in the shroud of silence
not spoken through syllables
but conveyed through eyes
and her unspoken words said volume,
alas! He was not listening
or maybe he lacked aberrant ears
to hear her prose
but despite such tragedy
the clamor in her silence
was creating a chaos on the mind of some defiant souls
