The Game

He kept the seine disguised
under his pretentious smile,

for he desired to trap her
in his precarious rife

and she disguised
in her innocuous smile,

played along
but until eternity kept him deprived

  1. Much pleasure! 🌸

Right now, school is off. It’s summer break. And the council for board examinations has just released the results for ICSE students, which includes my Tenth board results too.

By the way, from which state you belong in India?

  2. Cool. Good for you. So let me guess are you from Carmel school 😊. I am from Assam and I have family in Delhi. This weekend I am coming to India. Will be Delhi, Chennai and Madurai. Where are you from

  3. When I was in college I used to teach in Carmel for fun. I have taught computer sciences. So I know Carmel very well. No wonder your English is so good. So, what subject are you pursuing further in your studies.

  4. That’s great to know that you were a teacher, here, in India.

I am opting for Mathematics for further studies in my eleventh grade. 😁

  5. The title itself reminds me of an American Movie… Your your words are beautifully penned, so very pretentious, yet mysterious bitten by love. This seems to be like a game of battleship. More like concerns, many words unspoken. Another outstanding Poem.
